📚 From Manuscript to Readers - The Publishing Journey of a Vietnamese Comic Creator At Color Fiesta 17: Wonderland, meet comic artist Lilywiu - Le Loi Thu Dinh as she shares her firsthand experience of bringing a comic from the very first sketches to its official publication and into the hands of readers.
From preparing manuscripts and working with publishers to navigating censorship, choosing materials and references, and the behind-the-scenes stories that only industry insiders know - Lilywiu will share everything from the perspective of a Vietnamese creator currently studying and working in Germany.
In particular, Lilywiu has received several notable awards and recognitions both locally and internationally, including the Standard Award at Vietnam Comic Days, Grand Prize at the Global Comic Awards 2026, and Finalist at the Monsoon Awards 2026. Alongside her work on Tàn Lửa, a comic series that has surpassed 10,000+ printed copies and is currently preparing for its third volume with Kim Đồng - Wings Books, Lilywiu will share her personal perspectives on creating and publishing comics.
